Reply:I think they were fated. Chow was married to a HK actress Candice Yu. Apparently Candice did not get along with Chow's mother and Chow is a very filial son. They divorced a fews after their marriage. Jasmine and Chow met through a friend and in one of the interviews, Chow said that Jasmine and his mother got along very well. Chow's career soared even further after his marriage to Jasmine and whatever reason they may have, I think they are good for each other.

I met the couple before and talked to them (I was hired as the interpreter of Chow for a Japanese Movies magazine interview), Jasmine gave me a very good impression, warm, nice and she served us tea by herself even she could order the drinks from the hotel but she prepared the tea herself for us She speaks Cantonese and English, I think she is smart but shy (at that time, she escaped/rejected our request for taking the couple together in photos).





We (the Japanese interviewer and certainly me as the interpreter) also causally (off record) asked the couple how they met. I remember that Chow told us Jasmine was a big fan of Chow and they met in Malaysia + Chow said even Jasmine's father also was his fan too! Chow was already a very famous and successful actor before they got married.





But .. that's what he told us in an interview. Anyhow, the couple seems to be happy together and Chow is making good money in Hollywood. Who cares who is richer?
Reply:Chow has money and fame already, I don't think Jasmine rich family background makes a significant difference. Only he knows the reason.
