Is there a way to make sticky rice from jasmine rice without a rice steamer?

everyone keeps telling me different crap like put a cheesecloth over the rice when cooking it or soak it for 30 minutes and u have to have a short grain rice

Is there a way to make sticky rice from jasmine rice without a rice steamer?
jasmine rice is naturally a stickier rice! add a touch more water to your pot.
Reply:I don't know what the trick is but I would be glad to do it for you. No matter how I cook rice unless it's the boil in a bag kind it turns out great for sushi! I can follow the directions exactly but it always comes out sticky!
