Green tea (whether plain, jasmine, or some other variety) is very good for you. Drinking 3 to 4 cups a day has been linked to an improved immune system, a healthy heart and a lower risk for several types of cancer. Some studies indicate that the increased metabolic effect may help with weight loss, but the amount you have to drink to get that effect (around 20 to 30 cups a day) isn't worth the very slight increase in your metabolism.
