Reply:It's nice...makes me think of a pretty flower with a pretty smell...but if it's for your baby, don't forget that it's also nice to look for a name that comes from your family (I found out a while ago that my middle name is the same as my dad's mom's middle name...I like things like that). It seems to me that so many people these days are looking to pick names that are original %26amp; unique, but I like the idea of a name that shows a sense of connection. Is that lame?
Reply:Try to think ahead - "30 year old Jasmine Smith elected to the Executive Board of Fortune 100 company" - just doesn't ring true.





Support staff and waitresses are named Jasmine, give her a chance with name that implies so much more.

How will it look on a job resume? When she's not there to represent herself, her name will carry a lot of weight. Also, can you see her grandchildren saying, "We're going to see Grandma _______ this weekend!"

Reply:I name my baby girl jasmine 19 years ago and lost her when she was a baby make me sad, but now my older son going to be a father of a baby girl and he going to name her jasmine in honer of her baby sister make me and him happy to have a jasmine again in the family.
