Dear Micah, A potted plant is just like underpants. If you keep wearing the same underpants when you were a size 32 waist, and you insist on wearing em, years later, when you are a size 38 waist, then you have got to be strangling the life blood out of your taproot if you know what I mean.

You need a bigger pot with potting mix not potting soil. Rule of thumb is to go one pot size larger than what you use now. Fill in with the mix. If you get one with fertilizer all you have to do is keep it watered.
