More than likely yes. There are many things in tea that have yet to be properly investigated but one that has is its antioxidant properties. It is very possible that in the near future additional benefits of drinking tea will be brought up and or proven.
Another possible benefit from drinking tea may come from the act not the liquid. Making and drinking tea can be very relaxing; and any time that you can relieve stress and relax must be good for your physical and metal well being. I starting to really drink and enjoy tea two years ago after my doctors asked me to stop drinking coffee. Since my change from coffee to tea I have accumulated 2-3 tea pots some nice cups and around 30 teas. Now when I stat getting stressed out I often find myself taking a short 10 minute break to make some tea and really enjoy it. It is something so simple yet it makes people feel good so it really must be good for you.
