Does the flower, Jasmine, have...?
NO
Reply:no thorns but gorgeous smell.
Reply:Hi:

I agree with the other answers. There are different varieties of Jasmine but I have never seen them with thorns. I live in zone seven and Jasmine is a very popular plant specimen. It looks wonderful along fences or on a trellis. The Lemon Drop Jasmine is a dwarf and does well over a natural rock. If you can use the Jasmine in your climate, I would highly recommend this plant. I will link you to the tropics section of my website. There is a page on Jasmine. I will also link you to the gallery of plants section. Browse through and see if you can find any other specimen that would accent the Jasmine. I hope you can plant Jasmine in your zone as it is such a nice addition to a garden. Have a great day!

Reply:There are several plants (of different genus and species) referred to as Jasmine. I know of none with thorns.
