Just starting to get into guitar and would like to purchase my first acoustic. Looking for recommendations in the $150 price range. Suggestions welcome. Most sites that I've found gave reviews that seemed to good to be true.
Is the Jasmine by Takamine S34C NEX Cutaway a good starter acoustic guitar in the $150 price range?
yeah, i donno, there is no pickup on that you know- it is just a straight acoustic, that is why it is so cheap, well, that and it is chinese made and uses cheaper wood. I'd go to music stores and see if you cant find a used one that does have a pickup. A few months back i helped a friend of mine find a beginner acoustic and we ended up getting a yamaha with a pickup, a built in tuner and a xlr out for just under 300. It is begginer level instrument, but at least there is versatility and room to grow.
